Hard Wax Beans allows for easy hair removal, more pliable wax, and allows the wax to bend as it is removed. It is ideal for use on sensitive skin, as it helps reduce irritation and soothes the skin – leaving you with an incredibly soft and smooth finish.
Before use, please read precautions and warnings carefully.
Using a Microwave: Pour out desired amount in a microwavable wax cup (sold separately). Amount will vary depending on the area to be treated. Heat for 3-10 minutes (depending on your microwave and amount of beans used). Do not leave the microwave unattended and be sure to constantly check the wax, at least every minute. Be cautious of heat when removing wax. Leave the wax to cool for at least 2 minutes. It should be the consistency similar to that of honey. Leave to cool for 2-5 minutes. Test the temperature on a small area before applying. See below for testing.
If using a warm wax heater: Pour out desired amount inside the warm wax heater (amount will vary depending on the area to be treated). Plug the heater into the wall. Turn on the warm wax heater, set to ±40° degrees and wait at least 20 minutes for the wax to heat and melt. (Temperature setting varies depending on the brand of wax heater). Test the temperature on the inside of the wrist before applying.
Skin prep: For maximum effect, hair should be 2-5mm long. Recommended temperature of use is ± 40 degrees. (Heat the wax on high for 10-15 min to reach melting point, then reduce to a lower setting that is comfortable for application. If wax appears very runny, it is likely too hot for use). It is important to test the temperature of the wax by applying a small quantity on the inside of the wrist with a spatula. If it is too hot reduce the heat accordingly.
How to apply: Use HairGo Pre-Wax Gel on the application area and allow to dry Use a Spatula to apply. Apply the wax against the direction of hair growth for short hair and with the direction of the hair for longer hair After applying the wax and it has dried enough (it should not feel tacky to the touch however don't wait to long as the wax may harden and crack) press down on the entire patch to ensure a uniform removal, hold the skin tight, grab an end and remove the wax in a brisk fashion against the direction of hair growth.
